Acolytes Schedule
The word acolyte is derived from the Greek word akolouthos, meaning "companion, attendant, or helper". The young people who serve on Sunday mornings as acolytes are indeed companions and helpers to the pastors as well as to the congregation. The acolytes light the candles for worship, assist in the collection of the offering, and help with the distribution of communion--in addition to other occasional duties as assigned. The acolyte schedule can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
Special Notes to our Acolytes:
(1) If you are unable to serve at your scheduled worship service, please exchange with someone on the list, and notify the church office by Wednesday of the week you are scheduled. Also, acolyte pairs marked with an '*' will be 'wine runners' for Communion that day.

(2) For those who have served as an acolyte before, there is a new duty at offering time. Ask the pastors before the service, and they will fill you in.
