OrganistOrganists and "Ministry through Music"
During Sunday worship services at American Lutheran, numerous people share their musical gifts as part of our worship liturgy. Singers...instrumentalists...either as soloists or groups...regularly bless our congregation at nearly every worship service. Below is a link to a schedule containing the names of the musicians who have volunteered to provide music and the dates they will be sharing their talents.

Other Musical Groups (Choir, Alternative Worship Band, Youth Singers, Junior Choir,...)
No matter your age, American Lutheran has a musical group for you to participate in. New "start-up" groups are always encouraged! Contact Sylvia Anderson for more information.

Assisting Ministers

The liturgies often used in a worship service at American Lutheran come from our hymnbook, the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. These liturgies are designed to be led by both clergy AND lay members of the congregation in partnership with one another. Much of the singing portions of the liturgy are marked for a lay "assisting minister" role. Several musically talented individuals have volunteered to serve in this capacity. Their names, and the dates they are assigned to serve, also can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
