Children's Church Schedule
On the first and third Sundays of the month (from Sept. through May), at our 10:15 a.m. worship service, children from the age of 2nd-grade and below are invited--during the sermon time--to go downstairs to the church basement for a twenty-minute "children's church" time. During this time, an adult volunteer presents a Bible story to the children in a "kid-friendly" manner, often times combining the Bible story with a simple craft exercise.
The goal of Children's Church is two-fold:
(1) To enable our youngest worshipers to learn more about God and God's workings in Scripture
(2) To enable the parents/guardians to listen more attentively to the "adult" sermon happening simultaneously
Below is a link to a schedule that lists the names of our Children's Church volunteers for the upcoming school year, and the dates they have been assigned to lead a session. If you would like to serve as a Children's Church volunteer, please contact our church office (376-5264).
